New Zealand Supports Foxton Wetland Restoration with Up to NZ$3 Million

On 4 November, the Government announced a Regional Infrastructure Fund grant of up to NZ$3 million for the restoration and development of Piriharakeke, the river loop at Foxton. The project supports environmental restoration and regional visitor infrastructure. It creates opportunities for environmental consultants, restoration contractors and sustainable tourism operators.
